Afraid. She’s not afraid of your super warrior skills or your the way you glare at her or even when you get in her face. No, that is far from what she is afraid of. The daughter of Ceres is afraid of herself. She is constantly haunted by her own thoughts- thinking too much as one might say. Common thoughts that she thinks include - ‘what if they don’t like me’, ‘i’ll hurt someone with these stupid powers’, ‘i can’t do anything right.’ Now you might not consider this being afraid, but rather having negative thoughts. Certainly, they are but it all comes from the idea that she isn’t good enough for anything or anyone.
Loyal. When you make friends with Freya, she will be your friend for life. Kind of die hard. She doesn’t have too many people that she considers true friends, but those that are.. well, she’ll do just about anything for them. Freya likes to make those around her happy and so you could also call her something of a pleaser- but again, only for the people she truly cares about.
Aloof. When meeting strangers, Freya is rather shy. She most likely won’t be the first one to say something. When she does say something back, it’s usually a mumble and nothing overly personal. She doesn’t really talk about herself much so one would have to pry in order to get any sort of information.
Activities. Freya is very used to being alone. She rather likes it and constantly keeps something to do with her. Sometimes its knitting, other times its a coloring and even a book. Most of the time this stuff is for her to avoid potentially awkward silent situations. She would rather sit alone and read or color than face her social fears.
Despite all her efforts to avoid people, Freya very much wants to be well liked, she wants to have many friends and do things. She’s simply afraid of what people think of her perhaps too much. She is also afraid of rejection. Most of all, Freya is very uncertain about herself which perhaps has to do with her family.

History

Mother: Ceres (Camille)
Father: Richard Kane
Step-Mother: Celeste Kane nee Burnswick
Step-Sisters: Gertrude & Ethel Brunswick
Freya was born nineteen years ago to Richard Kane, a botanist who was very fascinated in finding new uses for plants and of course, studying plants themselves. Who else would be interested in a plant scientist than the goddess Ceres. Richard Kane was living in Liverpool, England when he met the goddess- of course, then he didn’t know that she was a goddess. They spent perhaps a year together before Ceres disappeared after having a child- Freya.
One would think that a man like Richard Kane could provide for his daughter, however that was not entirely the case. Two years after Richard and Ceres were together, he remarried to this woman, Celeste. Celeste could be a kind woman if she wanted to be, however she wasn’t precisely the nicest woman. She was a widower and had two daughters of her own which she wanted a man who was able to support her daughters as well as her own expensive tastes. While Richard was able to afford much of their desires for a period of time, the money ran out- or rather all of his funds were put towards Celeste and were to be distributed as she saw fit. Because Freya was not her own child, the woman looked down upon her. Celeste thought herself to be better than the child and indeed thought that her own children were prettier, more clever and of course, more likable than Freya. Ethel and Gertrude were perhaps pretty children, and they were now that Freya was wearing hand me downs. As if acting superior wasn’t enough, the other ladies in the house called Freya ugly and told her she was worthless- so much so that even her father had no time for her. In a way, it was true. Richard Kane was busy working for the small fortune which supported his family.
As a child, Freya was constantly being put down which caused her to become quiet, silent and rather pessimistic. The children at school made fun of her clothes- so last season. Freya kept to herself most of the time and preoccupied herself by learning to garden, knit and color as well as listening to music. This was her escape from the rest of the world and it helped her deal with her rude and annoying half sisters.
It was when Freya turned fourteen that she found out that she was a demigod. Her father died in a car crash and her home life took a turn for a worse...if that was possible. But the strangest thing happened on her way home from school. She was walking down the street, about to get on a bus when she heard something very strange- a growling sound almost like a dog. Sure enough, there was a dog, but it didn’t look like an ordinary dog. Later Freya would learn that it was called a hellhound. She barely got away and when she did, there was a Satyr who was there to explain everything… or rather a Faun.
With nothing to lose, Freya agreed to return to camp with the Satyr and learn about her heritage and has remained in the shadows. However, when the camp was attacked by their greek counterparts, Freya fought to keep the camp together. They may not have been close to her, but they were somehow family too. Camp was a home where she felt safe- to some extent and she had found the company of the other campers to be comforting at times even if she didn't speak to the majority of them. Camp couldn't end. After it was all over, Freya chose to join with the greeks despite the fact that they had invaded her space. Who was the real threat here anyway? It was the old ones- the titans who threatened everything that she knew. They were the lesser evil, the Greeks.

Powers & Abilities

Chlorokinesis
Being the goddess of Harvest children of this goddess maybe gifted with the ability to manipulate/create plants and other plants life. They can make them grow, age, pretty much anything. They can physically do this with a touch, or mentally, doesnt matter to the plants. (While flowers are considered plant life we highly encourage that children of Demeter/Ceres stick to Agricultural products as to not upset their half sister who has dominion over flowers)
Freya has known about this power for a good while. She is able to make most things grow by gazing at a certain place and something will grow there. She first discovered this ability when she was gardening and wished that there tomatoes would grow faster so she could have some for dinner at the age of ten.
Geokinesis
Think of the Harvest gooddess as mother earth in a way. Since she has some control over the earth so do her children they can manipulate the earth in pretty much anyway possible.
Freya discovered this power later on when she was at camp. So far she’s got a fairly good handle on it. However, she still has a lot to practice as well- at least for bigger things. She can make the earth shake a little as well as make it form into different shapes- small in size, but at least its a start.
Fighting Abilities
In terms of being able to fight, Freya learned how to shoot a bow and arrow fairly well, however she isn't all that strong in her arms- swords are a weakness of hers. Her aim is not as good as she would like it to be, but it's decent enough. She wants to learn how to fight with other weapons as well- perhaps a spear.
